I'm Dr Ellen-Louise Lawrie BVetMed BSc (Hons) PgC (SAM) MRCVS.

RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine and Founder of The Vet Van.

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013 and have spent several years working in clinics and hospitals across London, Lincolnshire, and Cambridgeshire. I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2024 and became an Advanced Practitioner in 2026, allowing me to focus on more complex medical issues in cats and dogs. I enjoy diagnostic imaging, especially ultrasound, and I also enjoy dermatology and helping itchy pets.

Our Story

We understand the veterinary clinic can seem a scary place for some pets. In today's hustle and bustle, scheduling a trip to the vets can also be hugely difficult for a lot of us. The Vet Van brings compassionate, convenient care directly to the comfort of your home. Reducing anxiety and stress, and improving the overall experience.

We provide puppy and kitten vaccinations, alongside annual check-ups, boosters, and arthritis injections (Librela/ Solensia). Laboratory testing, medical work-ups, and preventative healthcare can all be provided in the comfort of your home.

Need a surgery? Xrays? More complicated investigations such as endoscopy or orthopaedics? No problem. Our partner practices are with you every step of the way.
